Global Call Forwarding customers can now sign in to the Control Panel using the Google, Microsoft, or Apple credentials their organization already issues.
DELRAY BEACH, FL, Sept 2026 – Global Call Forwarding, a leading global provider of enterprise-grade virtual phone numbers and cloud communication solutions, has introduced Single Sign-On (SSO) for its Control Panel. Customers can sign in with their existing Google, Microsoft, or Apple credentials rather than maintaining a separate password for their Global Call Forwarding account.
SSO has been one of the most requested features among the company’s enterprise customers. Organizations running voice services across several regions often have dozens of people working in the Control Panel, from account administrators and billing contacts to the support and IT staff who manage routing day to day.
Managing Access Across a Growing Set of Business Tools
Enterprise teams work across a long list of platforms, and every platform that sits outside central authentication adds administrative work. Access has to be granted account by account, passwords have to be reset account by account, and IT teams have to keep track of which credentials belong to which employee across systems that were never designed to talk to each other.
That overhead grows with the organization. A company opening regional offices or moving into new markets adds Control Panel users at the same time, and each one becomes another credential to issue, maintain, and eventually retire.
What Single Sign-On Changes for Customers
Signing in through an identity provider the business already runs brings the Global Call Forwarding account into the same access process as the rest of the toolset. For customer teams, that means:
- A simpler way in: Users reach the Control Panel with the account they are already signed in to, with no separate password to remember or reset.
- Fewer credentials to manage. Administrators issue and revoke access in one place rather than maintaining a standalone set of logins for voice services.
- Centralized authentication. Control Panel access follows the same sign-in policies the organization applies to its other business platforms.
- Stronger account security. Sign-in inherits the protections already configured with the identity provider, and there is one fewer standalone password in circulation.
- Easier management at scale. Onboarding a new team or a new region no longer means a separate credential exercise for the voice platform.
Built on the Account Controls Already in Place
Global Call Forwarding customers already decide who can do what inside their account. User and Role Management lets a Super Admin create users and assign default or custom roles, with view or modify permissions covering service lines, phone numbers, billing, reports, and integrations. Two-factor authentication and password settings sit alongside those controls in Account Settings.
SSO changes how a user authenticates rather than what that user is allowed to do. Roles and permissions continue to govern everything inside the Control Panel, so administrators keep the same oversight of their account while the sign-in step moves to the identity provider they already manage.
“This came directly from our enterprise customers, who asked for our Control Panel to work the way the rest of their business tools already do,” said Luke Genoyer, Business Development Manager at Global Call Forwarding. “Their IT teams are accountable for access across a lot of systems, and this puts our platform inside that process instead of beside it.”
Part of a Wider Investment in the Platform
Single Sign-On continues a run of updates to the platform customers use to run their global voice services, following User and Role Management for account administrators, AI Call Insights for call transcription, summaries, and sentiment analysis, and refreshed softphone applications for desktop and mobile. Each of those releases has been aimed at the same thing: making a global voice deployment easier to operate as it grows.
